Diet Daphnia or Artemia nauplii.


Origin Rio Madeira basin, Brazil.


Average Cost £2.50 to £3.00


Sexing females are more robust than males


Minimum Aquarium Size 42.5 litres.


Water Conditions Temperature: 72 to 79°F (22 to 26°C) pH 6.4 to 7.4


Tank Requirements sand or fine gravel substrate.


What area of the tank? bottom


Grouping in groups of 8 or more


Behaviour and Compatibility peaceful not ideal for community with it been so small


Reproduction can be bred in the aquarium
